JWTranslate has just been updated and re-released. JWTranslate is an easy to use tool for maintaining your site's language files and it works with the site's CORE languages as well as language resources for addon components.

You can use JWTranslate to create or maintain different language files or just to edit your existing ones. The two languages can even use different charsets. You define the charset when you create a new language file or import an existing one into your site.

When you select the language to maintain you get a window like the one below with your source language, the one you're translating from, on the left, and the target language on the right. As you scroll down the list and change or insert new definitions the two windows remain synchronized, making it easier than ever to create new translations or edit your existing prompts.

When you're done, just click the button to save your changes.

System Requirements

Joomla version 1.0.10 or later. Not tested on recent versions of Mambo or older versions of Joomla.

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH Hot Property, mosets mTree or other components that do not use CONSTANTS to define language tokens.
